UTO – U
nited Thank Offering: It’s not all about the blue boxes, although that is how most people know it. Throughout the year, you are encouraged to save your pennies, loose change, or bills to set aside for the work of the UTO. Once a year, at the Diocesan Eucharistic Festival, the funds are received by the Bishop and forwarded to the National Church for use around the world.
If you would like one of the little blue boxes for your home for the next year,
please take one from the back of the church.

Since 2004, a group of women at St. Johns’ have been knitting and gifting prayer shawls. Other women have assisted in this ministry also, in kind acts of donating yarn, providing labels, etc. Barb Knutson will now be overseeing this ministry. Please contact her or the church office if you are interested in being part of this group and/or if you wish to request a shawl for someone.
